Tickets Punched and Points Earned: Palm Beach Masters Series Riders Are Tops in Barcelona and Beyond




There couldn’t have been more pressure on Team Ireland at the 2019 Longines FEI Jumping
Nations Cup™ Final in Barcelona (ESP). Heading into the final round of competition, the squad
of Paul O’Shea, Peter Moloney, Darragh Kenny and Cian O’Connor was competing not just for a
championship victory, but also Olympic qualification.
The team delivered, finishing on just a single time fault to claim the title and punch their ticket
to Tokyo.

The Palm Beach Masters Series® congratulates Team Ireland, along with Chef d’Equipe Rodrigo
Pessoa and development team manager Michael Blake. Ireland finished fourth in the 2019
Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ USA at the Palm Beach Masters Series®. Kenny and O’Shea
both jumped at Deeridge Farms last season. O’Shea was a part of both Nations Cup squads and
won the Palm Beach Masters Series®’ CSIO5* Longines Grand Prix.

  • Team USA's Young Rider team was best in the 2019 CSIOY Young Rider Nations Cup at the 2019 Palm Beach Masters Series.

    Team USA’s Young Rider Jumping Team took home the gold medal in the FEI Jumping
    Nations Cup™ Youth Final CSIOY in Opglabbeek (BEL). This squad was also victorious in
    the CSIOY Nations Cup at the Palm Beach Masters Series® in 2019.

  • Alex Granato and Carlchen W won the 2019 CSI4*-W Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Wellington at the Palm Beach Masters Series.

    Alex Granato and Carlchen W won the 2019 CSI4*-W Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Wellington at the Palm Beach Masters Series.

    Alex Granato and Carlchen W earned their second career World Cup victory in
    Columbus. The duo’s first came in the 2019 Longines FEI Jumping World
    Cup™ Wellington at Deeridge Farms.

  • Ben Maher at the 2019 Palm Beach Masters Series.

  • Ben Maher won the inaugural Longines Global Champions Tour of New York on
    Governor’s Island. The win secured Maher the overall GCT Series title as leading rider for
    the second year in a row.
