Wellington, Fla. – Nov. 30, 2016 – Mark your calendars! Save the dates! Following the successful debut that was met with rave reviews at the inaugural 2016 event, the Palm Beach Masters CSI3*-W is returning to beautiful Deeridge Farms Feb. 2–5, 2017. This year’s event will feature a popular schedule and will showcase one of the final two of only seven East Coast qualifying events in the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League before the finals in March. In addition to the qualifier, the event will also feature additional classes for both junior and amateur riders.

The 2017 Palm Beach Masters CSI3*-W will be held at the scenic and convenient Deeridge Farms, owned by Jeremy and Margaret Jacobs, in Wellington. Set on a 300-acre oasis of serenity and beauty in the Village of Wellington, this will mark the second year in a row that Deeridge Farms will host an affair of this caliber.

“This event is special to me for a lot of reasons,” said Charlie Jacobs, president of the Palm Beach Masters CSI3*-W alongside brother Louis. “First and foremost, it’s my family’s farm so there’s a bit of nostalgia there having been on that property for over 30 years — since 1980. Seeing it all come together as it did last year for the first time was incredible. We received a great deal of positive feedback from the exhibitors and spectators, but this year, we’re working to improve the venue and event on all levels.

“We completely re-did our grass field and the drainage system with the idea being that if we were to get another 4 inches of rain, like we did last year the night before the competition, we would still be able to use the grass ring,” continued Charlie. “We also expanded the all-weather footing arena so it’s almost double the size of what it was last year.”

A total of 14 athletes from the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League will qualify for the 2017 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Finals in Omaha, Nebraska, on March 29–April 2, 2017. The top seven athletes from the East Coast sub league and top three from the West Coast sub league, and the two best-placed athletes from Canada and Mexico, will qualify for the final, alongside winners from 14 other leagues around the world.

The prize list and entry forms for the 2017 Palm Beach Masters CSI3*-W will be available soon online at: www.palmbeachms.staging.wpengine.com.
